In the Local Area Network (LAN) Settings window, verify that the Bypass proxy server for local addresses

box is checked and click on Advanced, as illustrated in Figure 5-4.

In the Proxy Settings window under Exceptions, add the desired IP range for which you want to bypass

the proxy server, as illustrated in Figure 5-5. For example you can enter http://192.168.1.* to bypass all

IP addresses in this range.
